Greening the mind: Matarkista Reykjavíkur

Greening the mind is the outcome of a group work between eight students from product design, graphic design, arcitecture and master design students. The aim of the project was to consider different ways to add diversity, vitality and humanity into our public space in connection with food production. To enhance people´s participation through cooperation with different groups such as schools, neighborhoods, and organizations.
The outcome of the group was a travelling kitchen using ingredients that grow around Reykjavík, using urban foraging to realise opportunities we never considered before.
